What is Treamer?

Treamer is a Finnish startup. We developed a digital placement platform that combines the work of the executives and companies looking for them quickly and fairly. Today, Treamer makes another hundred people work every month, to dozens of companies.

Treamer was founded in 2015, an idea to make the work and the creator meet simpler with the new fast-paced but fair work digital marketplace. The application itself was released in the spring of 2016 and the idea then was to provide young people with easy-to-use home work through the application. Suddenly, we noticed that companies were enthusiastic about the application. Our customers reported that they had previously had bad experience of personnel rental. Modern companies want a digital tool to manage their workforce and invite assistants on-demand. The only way to do it right is through a digital application.

Treamer helps especially young people

The nature of Treamer is purely performance-oriented, such as organizing events, promotion, maintenance and inventory work, and light office work. In such a way, it works with good attitude. Treamer is for people who are not afraid of new encounters and are quick to learn. With this application, we can build trust between two totally unknown people - Treamer sees workers from all over the work history at one go, every turn is criticized. This is a completely different approach to what was previously the case in the Personnel Service.

It's great that we can also help people to work. Many of the users of the application are young people who may not be able to access the workforce otherwise easily. But they are eager to learn and want to do the work they just do. When making your participation easy enough, people are happy to work. We get the best of our employees.

What is the market growth of the industry?

The human resources sector is gigantic. The area is growing rapidly and is in great resurgence. Globally, the EUR 417 billion market grows annually by + 5%. Europe's market size is 146 billion euros, while Finland is about 2 billion.

The core competencies of Treamer's core competence represent around 24% of the entire sector, which means that the total market value of the potential market in Finland is EUR 380 million. € and € 33 billion in Europe.

It is significant that the market penetration of Finland's personnel services (1.2%) clearly lags behind the European average (1.9%). According to the forecasts, Finland's market size will grow threefold over the next few years.

Digitalisation in the industry in its prime factors

Interestingly, at the same time, Finnish human resource companies have not yet invested significantly in technological development. According to a study conducted by the Personnel Services Association at the end of 2017, a significant part of Finnish human resource companies do not see new technologies posing a threat to their own business or the need to take digital expertise into strategic business development.

Digital personal care services are only in their early beginnings. Mobile-based services have emerged on the world market only in the last few years.

Treamer is in the front line, digitizing a very traditional sector that is gigantic.

The biggest competition is in small personnel rental companies, but at present very few do not offer a digital environment. Those who are more driven by technological advancement approach clear niche markets such as Bolt Works and Sumpli and Work Pilots in Finland.

Europe's largest digital office staff are JobandTalent, CornerJob and Job Today. In the United States, the popularity of personnel platforms has increased steadily for several years. The most interesting companies for Treamer are Wonolo and Shiftgig.

Treamer has already gained a significant position in Finland. In May sales were over € 54,000 / month and nearly 3,000 hours worked. There are already 12,000 people registered throughout Finland.

Treamer makes a unique service speed - at best, an employee is getting a job in the company in 28 minutes after the gig request is set to the application. Pioneering companies are looking for new ways to ease their loads through seasonal business. The only way to do it effectively is through a fast-paced personnel rental service.

Often, the rights of the worker are also discussed with the digitalization of the labor market. We see that we can offer an average better pay, because with technology we can cut off unnecessary middlemen. Thus, the use of the service is both cheaper for companies and more profitable for employees.

What are Treamer's goals?

In 2021, Treamer has been operating in 7 different countries. We will start enlargement from the West Bank, then the other Nordic countries, the Baltic countries and the Netherlands. The aim is to achieve a strong position in this market before competitors from elsewhere in Europe or the other side of the Atlantic can access it. A clear competitive advantage compared to these is that, for example, in the Nordic countries there is a very similar labor law that is difficult to interpret on the outside, creating higher barriers to entry. The Nordic countries are also in comparison with the small market, whereby many more players may find it more important to concentrate on the other. We will invest heavily in growth. This again strongly affects the value of the company and the interests of the shareholders.
